Saudis Need Special Laws to Curb Terror Ideologies…….

Really? JEDDAH — Drafting special laws and regulations to fight terrorism have been urged. The call was made by researchers and specialists at the Information Technology and National Security conference that concluded in Riyadh recently.

It was organised by the Presidency of Saudi Intelligence that recommended special laws or regulations be drafted that would criminalise the spread of terrorist ideologies, which would be agreed upon by the international community. They recommended that committees be established with the cooperation of a United Nations team to monitor the spread of terrorist ideologies.

Koran: (2:216)“Fighting is prescribed upon you, and you dislike it. But it may happen that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. And Allah knows and you know not.”

(2:109)… “But forgive and overlook,” was abrogated by the verse (9:5)…”kill the idolators…” and (9:29)… Fight…[the People of the Book] (9.123)…”kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out. . . . Such is the recompense of the unbelievers”

Gee, how about the Saudis starting with their own holy books, and emphasize the point that violent passages in the Koran and Hadiths are no longer to be taken literally in the modern age? Just a thought. More here. *L* KGS
