Fair journalists Holocaust Survivors Israel Jews in Finland

Israeli Ambassador to Findland One of Oscar Schindler’s Jews……..

Israel’s Ambassador to Finland, Avi Granot, (and friend of the Tundra Tabloids) is the son of a Jewish couple rescued by German businessman, Oscar Schindler during World War Two. In today’s edition of the Ilta Sanomat, journalist, Juha-Pekka Tikka interviews Avi Granot, the current Israeli Ambassador to Finland. Kudos to Tikka for a great interview. *L* KGS

IS: Israel’s new Finnish Ambassador Avi Granot, 57, is what is called a Schindler Jew. Granot is alive due to Oscar Schindler, who was made well known by the mega movie. Avi Granot’s parents were in Krakow Poland working in Oscar Schindler’s enamel factory.

Schindler saved 1100 workers from extermination by the Nazis at his own expence. Granot’s father, Herman Kornhauser (1904-1990) was a machine mechanic on Schindler’s list, who he saved from the death camp. Also making it to the list were his father’s brother and sister and his mother’s relatives.

Granot’s mother’s name, Hella Srebrna, was however removed from the list. She ended up leaving the Plazow concentration camp to Auschiwitz and then on the death march to Bergen-Belsen. Herman Kornhauser was told that his wife had died. Herman however left after the war ended to look for her and found her alive. They were married 1946.

Note: This story underlines the need for a Jewish state. So many people lost, so many lives destroyed because a Jewish home did not exist.

  1. Juha-Pekka Tikka is one of the decent, anti-dhimmi Finnish journalists and based on the article I once read, a reader of Tundra Tabloids.
