anti-human rights Beheadings Saudi Arabia

Saudis Behead Indonesian Maid…….

This is the gross reality of living in the kingdom of Saud. While I have no sympathy for a woman imprisoned for murdering her employer, I do though, deem her beheading as disgusting, and one of the worst types of executions in existence.

Many house servants in Saudi Arabia are kept in conditions resembling slavery, as well as being beaten and abused by their employers owners. Since I don’t trust the Saudi Arabian system of jurisprudence, it’s not clear to me, if this woman was actually guilty of her crime.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP)Saudi authorities on Saturday beheaded an Indonesian maid convicted of killing her employer, the Interior Ministry announced. In a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency, the ministry said the maid used a pillow to suffocate her employer Aisha Al Makhaled and then stole her jewelry in the southern province of Asir.

Saudi Arabia follows a strict interpretation of Islam under which those convicted of murder, drug trafficking, rape and armed robbery are executed in public with a sword. The maid is the second person to be executed this year in the desert kingdom, according to an Associated Press count. Saudi Arabia beheaded 137 people last year, up sharply from the 38 in 2006.

In spite of coming from Muslim countries, many Saudi employers do not consider these women as their equals. Saudi racsim is a well known phenomenon to the human rights groups, their files are filled to over flowing with them. So as far as I’m concerned, Abdullah Al-Bishi, or someone like him has just executed another hapless victim of Saudi injustice. *L* KGS
