Helsingin Sanomat Reviews Former Islamist’s Book…….

Hats off to Heikki Aittokoski for his review of the book by former Islamist Ed Husain: The Islamist. Why I joined radical Islam in Britain, what I saw inside and why I left.” (HS subscription only)

Perhaps the message is finally beginning to sink in at the Helsingin Sanomat, that radical, extremist Islam (read = Islamism) is the akin to the Nazis’ secular racist, supremacist dogma of the 30’s and 40’s.

Under the title of: “Islamin lippu Downing Streetille / Islam’s flag on Downing Street”

Aittokoski writes: “Ed Husainin tarina on huolestuttava. Ääri-islamilainen sielunmaisema muistuttaa niin suuresti natsismia.” / Ed Husain’s story is worrysome. Extremist-Islam reminds greatly of Nazism”

He continues: “Islamisti Husain uskoi ihan tosissaan, että vastassa on homojen ja juutalaisten salaliitto. Keinovalikoima oli yksioikoinen, goebbelsiläiseltä kuulostava totaalinen jihad. Totalitäärisyys meni Husainilla vähintään yhtä pitkälle kuin natseilla. Jopa maltilliset muslimit olivat ala-arvoista ainesta.

Translation: The Islamist Husain truly believed, that he was against a homsexual and Jewish conspiracy. The measures at hand were singular, a Goebbels sounding total jihad (edit. total war). Husain’s totalitarianism went as far as with the Nazis. Even moderate Muslims being deemed as unworthy elements.

Now if only the Hamas and Hizbullah can be viewed in the same light as the Ed Husain’s former organization, that took its example from the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hasan al-Bannan. *L* KGS

  1. Thanks for posting on my blog about the LGF-Atlas Shrugged flap, which has definitely taken on a life of its own. I have posted to both of their blogs imploring them to resolve this, because it doesn’t do anyone on our “side” any good.

This is a most distressing situation……

    🙁

  2. Unfortunately there are political extremists who pay no heed to science.
