Britain Islamism

Half of British Mosques Have Islamist Hardline Leadership…….

And this Islamist takeover happened in the midst of an open, vocal debate within British Muslim circles, giving voice to their concerns in the op-ed sections of British newspapers? NOPE.

As I have stated earlier:

“If the Islamists were in fact being resisted in a very vocal way…like in the op-ed section of the newspapers, their stories would be told…especially here at the Tundra Tabloids.”

But since there isn’t much of a peep to be heard –in any meaningful way– from Muslims who are fed up with the neanderthal coreligionists (=Islamists) within their faith, one can only assume that they are in league with them. Either proactively or submissively, with the latter being the result of intimidation or coercion,.. or both.

Here is a portion of a Times Online article that proves my point.

Almost half of Britain’s mosques are under the control of a hard line Islamic sect whose leading preacher loathes Western values and has called on Muslims to “shed blood” for Allah, an investigation by The Times has found.

Riyadh ul Haq, who supports armed jihad and preaches contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus, is in line to become the spiritual leader of the Deobandi sect in Britain. The ultra-conservative movement, which gave birth to the Taleban in Afghanistan, now runs more than 600 of Britain’s 1,350 mosques, according to a police report seen by The Times. “

That’s a lot of firebrand Muslims to be concerned about, and it all happened under the noses of Britain’s Muslim and non-Muslim communities, with the former having no excuse for their very quiet, submissive behavior.

More than likely, the “moderates” just weren’t able to mount a convincing counter argument to other Muslims, that its the Islamists who are wrong in their Islamic theology, without being condemned as apostates themselves.

Their revulsion to call for the ditching of major sections of the Qur’an, Sunna and Hadiths –which is a matter of necessity if Islam is ever going to join the 21 century– is what is keeping the “moderates” from ever making any headway against the Islamists.

But perhaps these “moderates” are not really “modernists” at all, believing that their prophet to be right in every circumstance, though common sense dictates otherwise. Courtesy of Jihad Watch. *L* KGS

  1. At best, “moderate” Islamics are those who are opportunists waiting to see who has the ultimate power to affect their lives. They will all be fundamentalists when in the presence of hardliners. Most of them probably are fundamentalist themselves, having been raised since birth in that cultish enviornment.
