The Farce Continues…….

UNIFIL forces thus far, haven’t been able to stop the weapons flow from Iran –via the “weigh station” called Syria– since the end of the second Lebanon war. But wait, there’s reason for optimism (being very cynical here), according to Israeli Foreign Ministry director-general Avraham Abramovich;

“despite the lack of action, the UN will reiterate its demand that Hizbullah immediately release kidnapped IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, and call for a weapons-free zone south of the Litani River.
Oh great, it’s a given that there will be absolutely NO REPERCUSSIONS WHATSOEVER for defying the UN Security Council’s resolutions by Iran, Syria and the Hezbollah. The UN and Israel are now going to “get tough” and demand the release of the two hostages and forbid weapons south of the Litani river. On a still evening when the wind is blowing in from the north, the Hezis can be heard laughing in their caves and bunkers all the way to Telaviv. More here. *L* KGS

  1. There’s not much, short of another war (which seems inevitable), Israel can do regarding the hostages held in Lebanon, but why doesn’t Israel cut off electricity, gasoline, etc. to the Gaza Strip if Hamas doesn’t release Gilad Shalit?
