A Qatari Sheik was upset that his three daughters were given seats next to a man they didn’t know, causing the flight to be delayed for three hours due to the father’s attempts at coercing the other passengers to exchange seats with his daughters.
“When none of the other business class passengers agreed to swap seats, the sheikh, a member of Qatar’s ruling family, went to the pilot, who had already started the engine, to complain, an airport official said. But the pilot ordered him and his traveling companions, the three women, two men, a cook and a servant, off the plane.”
I mean, a pilot that’s responsible for a flight that’s being delayed for nearly three hours due to someones religious/cultural sensitivities can only take so much, right? Now just try to imagine all of the joy and goodwill floating around the plane as the passengers become increasingly aware of the time slipping away, especially those with connecting flights.
