Danes at it Again, This Time Mohamed Burns…….

WARNING! Anyone not wishing to see Mohamed burn, don’t click the video. *L* KGS
Via Gates of Vienna.

Update: Youtube removed the video, thanks to the Baron at GOV, I have imbedded the new google version.

The text reads as follows:

We declare:

Saint Hans’ Eve has always celebrated the tradition of burning away the evil, in earlier times symbolized by the witch, who was supposedly directly connected to Satan. And if the witch was not burned then the harvest could not be safely brought into the house. Now a new evil has arrived in Europe, an evil that lies and kills in the name of their so-called God. An evil that springs from the so-called Prophet Mohammed. Therefore, in our time, it is he who symbolizes evil and it is not just one harvest that will disappear, but all of Western Europe’s future that will vanish if this evil is not dispatched to Hekkenfeldt

[i.e. Hell, literally the Hekla volcano in Iceland — BB].

Therefore will we burn the so-called Prophet Mohammed, on June 23, 2007, in three nameless places. We burned Mohammed in three different places across the country. We now release the video from the first burning. The next videos will be released on July 23 and August 23. For a Mohammed-free Denmark!!!

Editorial disclaimer: While there might be some who will strongly object to the content in both the video and text, the Tundra Tabloids publishes it nonetheless. This is how the Muslims’ prophet and their religion is being understood by many in the non-Muslim world, who see him as a symbol of evil as well as his writings. Their right to voice an opinion is safe guarded, as well as my right to report those opinions.

The non-modernist Muslim world must look itself in the mirror and admit a shared responsibility for their own role in the way both the Islamic religion and its founder is being understood. This is what happens when members of the Islamic faith quote their prophet, commit atrocity after atrocity, and wage war on the rest of the world’s religions, while the non-modernist Muslim world point their fingers elsewhere, cry victim and expect the non-Muslim host societies to bend backwards in accomodating their every demand.

If Islam was being widely practiced throughout the world as being nothing more than a matter of personal faith, void of sharia, I doubt seriously that Mohamed would be the subject of a Danish bonfire video.

  1. You talk about the Prophet and “his writings”. What exactly are his writings?

  2. “His writings” of course are the Koran itself.

The man Mohamed, who is viewed by Muslims world wide as the “perfect man and exemplary role model” is also the author of some very gross human/civil rights violating material, as well as his Islamic law (sharia) being anti-democratic in thought and deed.

These are the issues that trouble people such as myself, who witness the vast numbers of “non-modernist” Muslims that agree with sharia and that Mohamed’s 7th century model is fine and neccessary for the present age.

I am not saying ALL of his teachings in the Koran al illegit, just the portions that are at extreme odds with a modern democratic pluralistic society.

The Islamic sharia value system of beheadings, executing homosexuals, amputations and cross amputations, beating one’s wife, sex with pre-pubescent girls, beating children to learn the Koran ect. ect. ARE NOT desirable values.

Waging a war of attrition on the infidel until they either succomb by defeat, fatigue or are killed in battle is not anything worth emulating. I could go on but you get the picture.

  3. But the Prophet did not write the Qur’an or the Sharia. Neither Muslims nor western scholars think that.

    Get your facts straight man!

  4. According to Islamic teaching, Mohamed received the Koran through a series of revelations from Allah via the Archangel Gabriel.

Muhammad then dictated them to his companions who memorized them and wrote them down on whatever was available. These fragments were later compiled into the form of a book during the Caliph Uthman’s reign some years after Muhammad had died.

The texts you are perhaps refering to that Mohemd did not write or dictate per say, are the Sunnah and Hadiths, being Mohamed’s own mutterings others thought worthy of saving for future generations of Muslims.

Sharia originates from the Koran and the Sunnah, and therefore an integral and inseparable. Sharia is the legal code ordained by Allah for all mankind, which makes it most difficult for Muslims to conform to modern ways. A built in political system or code that is anti-democratic and anti-modern.

I DO have my facts straight, what sayeth you ?

  5. My point is, he did not write anything himself. We don’t know when these fragments were written and how accurate recollections they were of his sayings. And the Sharia, in its different schools, is based on later interpretations of the Qur’an, sunnah and hadith.

Calling Muhammad the author is ahistorical and demonising him is pointless. Bear in mind that this was 7th century Arabia, where you couldn’t really expect anyone to dictate the Bill of Rights.

I’m sorry, but I don’t see how childish acts of disrespect towards other people’s beliefs, and celebrating these, will help reform muslim society.

  6. With all due respect, your point is silly to the point of being boorish. Referring to the Koran as “Mohamed’s writings” is the exact same as referring to Mohamed as the Koran’s author. It’s entirely irrelevant “what we, or any Islamic scholars think”, the overwhelming majority of Islam’s faithful believe that Mohamed is the author of the Koran, and for them to think otherwise is like denying that their Allah doesn’t exist. Any silliness about whether Mohamed actually took the pen and ink in hand, or had his words transcribed by others who listening to him speak is just pure “word weaseling” and totally irrelevant.

Referring to what Mohamed actually wrote or had transcribed is not pointless, by any stretch of the imagination. The main point I was stressing (which you obviously missed) is that both Mohamed and his writings, as well as the Sunnah and Hadiths are being used as a pure, perfect template for modern day living. That Mohamed is thought to be the perfect role model (hence all the little boys named after him) people in this day and age use “his perfect role model” from the 7th century, as a blueprint for the modern age. WHICH IS ENTIRELY DANGEROUS.

This is not demonizing him, but giving an accurate picture of what the guy was all about and what his followers actually think of him today, and are ready to imitate in their own lives. Having a 7th century mindset in this modern age is what the Islamist movement is all about, and it is this mindset that is making the lives of the more “moderate” Muslims (those who either choose to ignore or lightly stress the troubling parts of the Koran), their teachers and Imams increasingly difficult. Being labeled an APOSTATE in Islam is a far serious charge than in Christianity or Judaism, it carries with it a death sentence, not to mention the stealing of one’s mosque by the radicalized.

That you would call my reasoned thinking and explanations “childish” speaks more about you than myself. That you would think my pointing out 7th century atrocities happening in this day and age due to the Islamic world’s clinging to ancient medieval barbarism, as DISRESPECTFUL of other peoples’ belief, …is utter nonsense.

Only by addressing these issues, thereby forcing the MUslim world to come to terms with their own barabarism, will there be any hope of a chance for change. Get it?

  7. Oh dear, you give me a headache.

I don’t know if you are twisting my words here deliberately, or just misunderstanding me. Like you, I am not advocating an outdated world view or justifying atrocities.

And with “childish” I was not referring to your arguments, but to the Danish “ceremonies” you were discussing. Is this an act that will make the average Muslim shave his beard and think: “Oh, that was a good point, I want to change!”?

I can promise you that no Muslim in this world would ever call Muhammad the author of the Qur’an. A western scholar might, however. This may seem trivial to you, but it is crucial for understanding (and that’s not the same as accepting) Islam.

  8. Anon : “I don’t know if you are twisting my words here deliberately, or just misunderstanding me. Like you, I am not advocating an outdated world view or justifying atrocities.”

I never said you were advocating an outdated world view You were ready though to “down play” the importance of that oudated world view in the minds of the present day Islamic faithfull.

No where can you point to, where I stated you were justifying atrocities. You were downplaying them, as being a product of an age past. I brought you up to date with Islam’s mindest that still views Mohamed’s ideas as still being relevent in this day anf age, and yes, including those that are anti-human/civil rights.

Anon.: (prior)”I’m sorry, but I don’t see how childish acts of disrespect towards other people’s beliefs, and celebrating these, will help reform muslim society. (recent)”And with “childish” I was not referring to your arguments, but to the Danish “ceremonies” you were discussing. I understand your point now, but under the circumstances, they could have only been understood in the way you originally wrote them, so i’ll give you some room here. That said, Muslims must be confronted with the fact that, others do not want to be ruled by Islam, have OTHER beliefs and do not hold Islam to be superior to their own, nor its leader superior to themselves. It is totally irrelevent how much more “boy rage” we see in the Muslim streets.

They have to face the fact that they live in the modern age, and that threats, while they might work in the areas where they live, it can’t force the non-Muslim world to submit itself to Muslim senabilities or better yet, supposed Muslim superiority.

Anon: I can promise you that no Muslim in this world would ever call Muhammad the author of the Qur’an. A western scholar might, however. This may seem trivial to you, but it is crucial for understanding (and that’s not the same as accepting) Islam.

Again, this horse has been indeed kicked once to many. Let’s put it this way, the overwhelming majority of Muslims believe that the angel Gabriel dictated directly to Mohamed the words of their Allah that became the Koran. Nothing more to add, and that’s what I maintained from the very beginning.
