EU Terrorism

EU Monitors Plan Escape From Palestinian "Authority"…….

The Palestinian “Authority” is a complete mess, and the main reasons contributing to the chaotic nature of their society can be easily discerned. Dysfunctional clans, factions and criminal gangs care more for their own welfare than the well being of their society as a whole.

The Gazans care little for the West Bankers and vice versā. Hamas cares more about their utopian ideals than the fate of the average Palestinian, who suffers greatly due to their destructive policies.

Fatah leadership has traditionally been more concerned in the size of its off shore bank accounts, –busily syphoning off funds given by the international community– than in creating a just and fair society for its citizens.

The UN, although it has been over the years the Palestinians’ greatest champion has been targeted by attempted kidnappings, and the same can be said for international media as well. Now its the EU’s turn in —spite of it being their greatest benefactor— to have its own representatives threatened with bodily harm, leading them to plan an escape route in the event things “turn really sour”. *L* KGS

Update: Khaled Abu Toameh wrote an excellent article in which he states:

“But the U.S. should stand firm. The Palestinian government is not committed to the Quartet’s demands that it renounce violence, recognize Israel and abide by agreements signed with Israel in the past. The speeches delivered by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his new Hamas partner, Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, at Saturday’s parliamentary session show that the Palestinians are determined instead to continue their strategy of double-talk. “

This why the international community must stand firm and impress upon the Palestinians that their both intransigence and violent policies, are totally counterproductive. Their message should be:

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no security fence.

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no checkpoints.

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no travel restrictions.

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no military incursions.

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no targeted killings.

Stop the incitement and violence and there will be no arrests.

Stop the incitement and violence, and then there will be peace, harmony, and tranquility for both sides. This also means giving up on their utopian dream of a “greater Palestine”, opting rather for a two state solution. Israel already has. *L* KGS
