Micahel Oren writes in Azure magazine that “The Sinai campaign of 1956 established that Israel was here to stay.” Oren’s article is about the Suez War, depicting the events that saw an alliance emerge between Britain, France and Israel, as well as the ramifications of the Israeli victory that led to the withrawal of her “new found” allies from the region.
Oren has proven time and again that he is a true scholar and historian in the classical sense, which contrasts greatly from the revisionist work of the “new historians”, that Oren himself addresses in the article.
